COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
Identify and explain alternatives to the traditional adversary system of dispute resolution;
Identify legal research techniques available to assist in preparing and presenting law-related lessons and activities;
Communicate to students the core values upon which the Nigerian justice system is based;
Utilize technology to teach law-related subjects;
Develop techniques and strategies for teaching legal concepts in a way that is meaningful to students;
Teach students and others with confidence about the nature, history, organization, functions, and process of the judiciary; and
Develop and compile reference materials and other resources for use in planning and presenting law-related lessons or activities.
