Values & Ethics in the Workplace

RATIONALE

The Workshop on Values and Ethics in the workplace is an Instructional Programme designed to address and encourage participants to appreciate the importance of work ethic, further develop their own work habits, attitudes, and improve interpersonal and employability skills.
Participants would be equipped from Communities, Institutions and Government Parastatals that want to create a climate where Values and Good Character thrive due to consciousness of commitment to and competency in ethical behaviour.
We are committed to teaching, enforcing, advocating, and modelling the seven pillars of Character; Truth Worthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Justice (fairness), Authority, Privacy, Caring and Citizenship to help them attain better effectiveness and productivity.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

Develop an awareness of Values and ethics, employee integrity, public service pride, and manifest esprit de corps that strengthens moral resolve, and commitment to high ethical standards;
Demonstrate a positive attitude of workplace ethics and the response to personal life;
Critically analyze the prevailing work ethic and their impact on performance and productivity; and
Improve the ability to make ethical decisions in the workplace.
