Public Education Works Initiative (formerly known as Centre for Responsive Politics), a Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission is committed to delivering the highest quality practical training with courses that enthuse and inspire staff to put into practice what they have learned and make the workplace, including Civil and Public Servants more productive and to succeed in their service delivery.

We focus on the development and Institutionalization of Civic Education in National Curricula, implementation of teacher training programmes, and the creation of a network of Civic Education teachers and Leaders. Our innovative and diversified training courses and consulting services are designed and delivered by experts who are competent in the subject matter by providing solutions relevant to this subject based on years’ of experience and issues applicable to today’s business challenges.

PEWI has Civic and Law-related Education programmes that are focused on Constitutionalism, Civic participation, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and fundamental democratic concepts such as justice, authority, and responsibility.

For over 25 years of existence, PEWI programmes are tailored towards helping youth and the general workforce develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required for competent and responsible participation in democratic self-government and also to foster the willingness to use democratic procedures for making decisions and managing conflict in the society and in a workplace.

We have received referrals from clients based on our excellent Customer Service, efficient Facilitators/ Resource Persons and the general experience participants receive from our training for their career enhancement. Our outstanding training course content and delivery, interactive and engaging methodology have added value to our participants learning style. This enables participants to debate, share and agree learning points with their peers for maximum effectiveness.

Our Civic Education Programmes are disseminated within Nigeria principally through a network of teachers, school administrators, and civic educators who have been trained in modern interactive teaching methods.
